Another great year in the TSHS story!
Our school’s successes are well known in the Toowoomba community. Our students take advantage of opportunities in academic, vocational and community-based learning. The school has establised a reputation for learning in an environment of high expectation and standards. 2010 is our year of sustainable achievement.
Year 8 students select their elective subjects and have greater time to learn in depth and develop their interest. Multiple pathways over the five years of schooling provide all students with subjects and community learning that matches their needs and interests. And in 2011 we will be expaning Senior options across both our beautiful campuses.
Toowoomba High teachers are highly qualified and skilled. I am proud of their expertise, diversity and skills in getting the best from their students. They have deservedly won awards and recognition in the past and this is certain to continue as they nuture the next generation of Queenslanders.
